Proposals for the redevelopment of this B-Listed building into a five star hotel, an arts facility and high specification apartment building involved:

Removal of a large proportion of the decaying internals of the building and retention of large sections of façade.

Insertion of a new contemporary lightweight glass and steel top floor to provide additional apartments, restaurant and hotel suites.
