Extensions to the Rusacks Hotel, St Andrews

In the eastern extension to the Class B Listed Heritage Hotel the steel structure and precast concrete floors and the generally dry finishes assisted in the speed of erection to allow the masonry façade and finishes to be constructed within a six month period in time for the British Open Golf Championship in 2000.

In the western extension, the retained masonry façade is backed by a structural cross wall system with precast concrete floors and dry finishes, surmounted by traditional timber trussed roofs within the silhouette of the original cottages.
