Princes House, Glasgow

A major headquarters building on the corner of Waterloo Street and West Campbell Street, the building provides 5,350 m² of quality office space, a complex scheme retaining the extensive car parking allowances of the original building but completely renewing its external envelope and internal fabric.

The original frame of structural floors was retained and the elevational design allowed an additional floor to be added as an “eaves gallery”.

The external  cladding consisted of aluminium panels and fins with “brise-soleil”, giving depth to the façade.

The base is in polished granite commensurate with the quality of the building.
