Peffermill Playing Fields, Edinburgh

Development of Edinburgh University’s Peffermilll Playing Fields to create a state of the art centre of sporting excellence incorporating the National Hockey Academy.  Facilities provided comprised:

Two floodlit water-based artificial pitches that have full international accreditation
A 100m synthetic training track
A synthetic hard court tennis facility
An extension to the Laurie Liddell grandstand and club rooms
On site parking for 160 cars and 6 coaches
Extensive native species landscaping

The extension to the Laurie Liddell grandstand consisted of:

New team changing rooms
Sports injury and treatment rooms
Match officials’ centre
A teaching and academic facility capable of being adapted for corporate entertainment
