Refurbishment of a former New Town banking hall and offices to provide individual retail units at basement, ground and first floor levels with a basement bistro in 101-103 George Street and high quality office space on the upper levels.
The building is Category “A” Listed and required careful consideration of the design and detailed negotiations with the Planning Department and Historic Scotland.
The project also involved refurbishment of 35,000ft² of offices to the rear of the main Listed Building.
The ground floor retail units included sensitive regeneration of some original William Playfair facades.
