
A complete refurbishment and change of use of the original 1960s Osprey Buildings to provide a world class conference venue, a convention centre featuring the most versatile, state of the art facilities in Scotland, a theatre style auditorium offering cinema quality audio-visual equipment and seating for up to 650 delegates, a new 1,000 m² exhibition hall and 13,000 ft² retail pavilion, major restaurant, multi-purpose function venue for concerts, weddings, meetings, individual meeting rooms with break-out zones and a flexible free-flowing foyer and concourse and reception that doubles as additional exhibition space. The entire existing building was re-imaged and renewed externally utilising the palette of natural materials common to the master plan proposals for the new buildings within the Aviemore Highland Resort.
