Abercrombie House, East Kilbride

The largest green roof replacement project to date in Scotland, this involved the replacement of a sterile ballast-covered flat roof on four different levels of an existing building.

The existing asphalt waterproof layer was retained to minimise construction waste and programme duration and a new Bauder built-up roof system was then installed incorporating an extensive sedum green roof layer.
